S.E.W. Diet contains high levels of energy and will work best if fed on mats rather than in feeders. In addition to the segregated early weaning program, this is an ideal ration for conventional 18-21 wean for pigs under 11 lbs. of weight. Also, for orphan pigs. For a larger litter, wean the bigger pigs early (S.E.W. Diet) and give the rest of the litter more nursing space.

HEAD-START D/CTC Phase I Pre-Starter for Pigs 10-15 lbs. of Weight |
Head-Start - is a high nutrient density complete pre-starter for baby pigs still nursing the sow. Head-Start promotes early, consistent consumption and a smooth transition from sow to dry feed. Feed as a supplement to the sows milk, then as a sole ration to pigs up to 15 lbs. of weight. Head-Start is a Phase I pre-starter that promotes maximum utilization of nutrients essential for growth and improved performance in early weaned pigs. Lysine is at a level of 1.6% to provide maximum growth, efficiency and proper amino acid balance.

BOOSTER II D/CTC Phase II Pre-Starter for Pigs 15-25 lbs. of Weight |
Booster II is an exceptional complete Phase II pre-starter formulated for pigs weighing 15-25 pounds. Pigs will get an extra "boost" from Booster II through its proper amino acid balance and higher consumption. Booster II is formulated to provide increased weight gains at an early age and contains products to insure palatability.
Booster II is available as a base, Booster II Base 400, for on-the-farm mixing or as a complete pellet.
Research has shown that blood products promote higher growth and feed efficiency in the early stages of the baby pigs life. Using porcine plasma protein in the Phase I diet increases weight gains while being cost-effective. Performance increased even further when spray-dried whole blood is added in the Phase II feeds following the use of porcine plasma protein. Other research has demonstrated that including spray-dried blood meal in the starter diet increases subsequent growth performance, even after the blood meal products have been discontinued. Start pigs with HEAD-START and follow with BOOSTER II to keep them going with the extra "boost" they need at weaning time.
